They have about the best mouse/remote control app I've found. I can tell you that I've been a long time user of. Of course, without trying out every single mouse app in the App Store, I can't be 100% certain. To the best of my knowledge, the answer is no. The benefit of it being a touchscreen could be exploited by allowing the user to control the virtual keys and/or trackpad size, shape, layout, colors and the codes they send - kind of like TouchOSC but instead of MIDI it sends keyboard/mouse input via bluetooth, wifi, or some other wireless method. It would be nice to have the *option* of a mouse - best would be support to allow you to use your iPhone, or perhaps repurpose your old iOS device or smartphone, as a trackpad and/or ext.

The development team at DoBox wants to make your iPad even more useful. Add a mouse (and other peripherals) to your iPad or iPhone. The app’s UI is very simple and attempts to mimic the design of an actual Apple mouse and keyboard. This is a Mac only remote mouse (or keyboard) controlling app. Using a stylus is ok too, although I find the smaller tips on the stylii (sp?) for the old resistive touchscreens (such as the Cassiopeia E-100) to be more precise & didn't block the screen.

And also more precise for image editing & drawing. It's dramatically quicker & easier for selecting text & moving around in word processing and spreadsheets. I think this option would tremendously increase the usefulness of the iPad / iPhone for business applications. Mouse for iPad I think they expect it to control a mouse pointer on the iPad like a computer, when they click the mouse button, it would behave as though they had touched the portion of the screen the pointer is on.
